Hi! I’m Sharon…

I originally  started my blog as a journal, a record of what I was learning from Oprah’s Life Classes.  I’m a huge fan!  Over the years, my life has been enriched, thoughts expanded and my world broadened through her show and guests.

I’ve also been blogging now for a few months and am so grateful for blogs –  to all of you authors, photographers, artists who express and share – so well – your creativity, thoughts, humor and caring.  Although I still use my blog as a journal, a reminder of my aha moments so that I can re-read my notes and thoughts when I forget where I’m going, it has become so much more to me than just a place to journal.

Sometimes I have to use a lot of discipline but at other times  I pamper myself and  spend a good part of my day reading blogs….I close my computer and am inspired and in awe.

Over the last few years I’ve had some medical challenges and was encouraged by a couple of attending nurses to explore meditation.  I did – and am now a believer in the benefits.  Some days it’s easier than others but over all it has definitely improved my health and well-being and Deepak Chopra’s 21 day meditation challenges – along with Oprah, have changed so many aspects of my life.  Grateful dance!  Grateful dance!

If you found your way to my blog, there may be a reason and hopefully something that you find here will add to your life in some way.

Peace and Love,

Sharon

OMG. Thank you so much for your efforts and gifts I just found here. It now allows me more time to actually practice now that I don’t have to transcribe it for later use. Now the focus is where is should be…. Blessings to you, my O friend…

Thanks for posting your notes from the Desire and Destiny meditations with O and D. I felt so lucky when I found your blog because I came late to the meditation series. It was Day 11 when I happened to fall upon it, and I was able to catch up and join in because of your notes. And I’ll finish a few days after everyone but had such a great experience because I was able to start at Day one and bring myself along in the same order as was intended — and still be part of the group – and such an inspiring event — joining in practice together, toward a meaningful and joyful transformation. Metta,

    Hi Sharon
    Beautiful blog – wow!
are you following the most recent 21day challenge?
I LOVE to read what Oprah and Deepak say on your site. As a non-native speaker it’s not always easy to let everything sink in without having the written text to read while O & D speak. If you have the written words to the 21day challenge of the moment, I would be very grateful if you would like to share them with me…
Thank you so much already for all the hard work you put in this site to make others happy!
    E

  14. Edith Dumon says:

🙂 are You following and publishing the one going on right now as well? Love, E

  15. Carol Gimlin says:

I am very grateful for your site; I have emailed before to express my appreciation. It is great to be able to read the meditations and spend a longer time on some of thoughts, where you can’t, if your only access is just your ipod. I also appreciate some of the resources that you followed that I had not. I also follow Mentors Channel. I saw that you had notes for OSHO and emailed you before to give you a heads-up on a recent meditation for Busy People. There is a 21 Days of Gratitude with Louis Schwartzberg that you might enjoy on the Mentors Channel; I bought it because it included audios and beautiful videos; I have started transcribing, email me if you would like my notes. Thank you so very much for sharing all that is on your site, I know how much time is involved in transcription because I have done it myself. THANKS, Carol L. Gimlin

    • Thanks for your note, Carol. Aren’t we so fortunate to have all of these resources for meditation! I limit transcribing notes to Deepak and Oprah now because of some time constraints but will look yours up and read them. Thanks for letting me know. I too, get more when I read the meditations as well as listen. And I”m so happy that you find them useful too. Thanks again! Sharon

  16. Ginny says:

Sharon, I love your blog and I have been lurking for quite some time. I had been transcribing the Deepak and Oprah 21 day Meditation challenges myself and then I missed a few days. I found your transcriptions, and I was overjoyed that someone else took the time. Thank you for sharing this with us. Namaste!

  24. Myra says:

Thank you Sharon for posting the transcripts for the 21 Day Meditations with Deepak Chopra and Oprah Winfrey. These postings have truly blessed my life. When I discovered they were no longer available, I wanted you to know that they will be missed.

    I am truly grateful,

    Myra

    • Thank you so much for letting me know, Myra. I’m trying them in a different format and hopefully it will be acceptable and still useful to you all. I really enjoyed doing them and have gotten to know who some of you are – a gift to me. Sharon

      • Sabrina says:

I agree that your transcripts are a blessing and a gift that I am grateful for. Will you be doing the current meditation that is available now?

        • Sorry to say I’m unable to do them this time, at least at this time. I have some projects going for the first two weeks that require a lot of time and attention and the transcriptions require a whole lot of time – I do them from my phone by hand. If I can catch up, I will. Thanks you so much for your note, Sabrina!
